About me
An architect who loves cities, Demetrio’s job is to shape better cities, which he sees as collective pieces of art made by the people, for the people, through time. His research and study focuses on the contemporary urban condition and future trends. He believes in architecture and urban design as tools for innovation and change.
As an urban observer and a placemaker, he is fascinated by urban design affect people's behaviours and social life, particularly in streets and public spaces. At the same time, he is concerned by the way urban mobility affects the liveability and the quality of the urban environment, and insists that cities should be designed for people, not cars.
